By the time Sarah had wiped away her tears, packed up her things and left "Battle of the Exes" for good, there was no doubt in her fellow competitors' minds that she should have gotten the chance to stay. Her partner, Vinny, was the sole perp in Mandi's top pop-off incident, and the house mother of the "Challenge" seemed to get the short end of the stick by a long shot.
While viewers almost unanimously thought that Sarah's dismissal was unjust, some felt it was part of the game, and that one partner's fate determined the other's implicitly. Others commented that Jasmine was much more deserving of a pink slip for slapping Tyrie. Either way, it seemed there would be no new partner for Sarah, as in the case of Mike joining the "Rivals" cast after Adam was kicked off.
Take a look at what fans of "Exes" said on Remote Control, Facebook and Twitter below, and give your final thoughts on Sarahgate.
Remote Control:
"How come Sarah gets kicked off, but when Jasmine hit Tyrie, she didn't go? I think they should have kicked off Jasmine and Vinny and put Sarah with Tyrie." -- Eve
"Of course she doesn't deserve it, but that's what happens when you're part of a team. Perhaps one should think twice about whom they invite into their beds." -- MDDItalianUSA
Facebook:
"It's completely unfair that Sarah went home! MTV flew in a replacement for Adam so Leroy could stay. Sarah should have gotten the same respect." -- Lynelle B.
"I felt bad that Sarah had to go. She really wanted to be there and compete. The fact that Jasmine could hit Ty and nothing was done to her really pissed me off." -- Rhonda H.
Twitter:
"It's time contestants consider their actions and how they might affect their partners' fate." -- @WeAreChallenged
"For the sake of the #Exes theme, it would have thrown off the entire structure if she had a random partner, so I agree with MTV." -- @_JillMariee
