Lots more twists and turns on tonight's "Battle of the Exes"! Having come out of the inaugural Dome with an enemy in Johnny Bananas and the status of public enemy No. 1, Wes took a critical look at Mandi and decided he should get a second chance. Sarah was less invested in Vinny, who admitted to moving in with a girlfriend he didn't really like, and Jasmine took drastic measures to show Tyrie she had no romantic interest. It was bound to get physical.
Heather and Dustin were sure the show's second mission, "Hook-up," would work in their favor as they were one of few couples that still shared a mutual attraction, but Power Couple Bananas and Camila killed their chance by putting them up first against Wandi. Naturally, neither team succeeded at working in tandem to get across a series of suspended platforms with a single hook and several overhead rings. But, neither were most that followed, and Naomi and Leroy took a particularly monstrous spill, while Diem struggled to cope with CT's barking.
Team Teal continued its dominance of "Exes," but had to face second-place finishers Vinny and Sarah in a final heat to confirm its victory. In a striking upset, Sarah and Vinny pulled out a win when it mattered and earned the choice of sending any team into The Dome against Leroy and Naomi, who were the day's last-place finishers. While Sarah wanted to rid the house of Jasmine and Tyrie's aggression, Vinny was more inclined to put Wes and Mandi in front of the firing squad as the redhead was responsible for sending Sarah and Vinny into Exile on "Fresh Meat 2."
Without a solid plan confirmed, Sarah and Vinny and the rest of the house hit the club to work out some nerves. Naomi saw red when Leroy and Aneesa got down on the dance floor, and the former wore the latter as a human necklace, but the Vegas chick composed herself. Less forgiving was Mandi, who gave Vinny a good ol' slap after the guy ripped her top off in front of the dance floor's crowd. Sarah was worried that the ticking time bomb from "Cutthroat" resurfaced, and that the pair's earlier win hadn't changed much in her partner.
While the group gathered to hear Vinny and Sarah's Dome choice the next morning, Vinny was warned by production that anything similar to his performance at the club would no longer be tolerated. The threat didn't deter him from crucifying Wes and Mandi verbally as he explained they were his choice for the elimination round and most of the house was shocked by his audacity. Wes wished he could have given Vinny a knuckle sandwich, but knew it was best to keep his cool so that Mandi, who was near tears, could remain in the game.
Mandi got her vindication when TJ announced Vinny's stunt was grounds to send him packing. No one was particularly surprised, but when Sarah was also instructed to leave, a bomb was set off, and the floor cracked with each jaw that dropped. The cast was sad to see the house mother head out, but there was still a Dome on the horizon.
In "X-Battle," the guys and girls battled separately to rip an X-shaped tool out of their opponent's hands. Wes was no match for Leroy, but Mandi easily defeated Naomi, sending the tied teams into a final round, in which Wes and Leroy would once more to determine an ultimate winner. After both were covered in dirt and blood, Leroy dug deep and bested Wes again. And for the second time, Wes was the reason he and Mandi were eliminated from "The Challenge."
