Though many 21-year-olds drink and party their way through a stunted adolescence, "Danger" seems wise beyond his years and carries himself like a beer funnel has never crossed his path. The nimble and feisty "Caged" fighter recently committed to going pro by quitting his day job and moving back into his mother's house to help her get over a broken heart. So when gym manager Donny, who's got a jail sentence to serve, handed over the Karate Mafia keys to "Danger," it seemed like no question that the roughhouser could handle the responsibility of operating the space on top of everything else. But should he have to?
Before Matt destroyed his opponent in a match far from home, Donny sat him down, confided his troubles with the law in his protege and told him he was the only person who was ready to take on the task of overseeing the business side of the gym. Without flinching, "Danger," who's younger than most of his fellow fighters, accepted the responsibility, but noted tracking finances and managing accounts would surely serve as a distraction from keeping pace with his training. His sister Bri offered some help (in hilarious fashion), but as usual, "Danger" took the world on his shoulders, without a peep, like there was never an alternative in the matter.
+ Do you think the experience of taking Karate Mafia's reigns will be good for Matt, or will it overwhelm him? And is this simply a case of someone taking advantage of the nice guy?
