When you're down and out, it's easy to throw in the towel. But when there's nothing left to lose and your pride is hanging in the balance, sometimes you have to put up your dukes. That's the story for a handful of young Mixed Martial Artists starring in MTV's upcoming series "Caged," who've got no other choice but to stand up and fight.
The series will follow Wes, "Danger" and other young adults that are struggling to find identity in a small Louisiana town. Trouble with relationships, the loss of loved ones and depression surrounding dead-end jobs are compounded by the ever-present struggle to survive round after round in a fenced-in MMA octagon. Whether the competitor's expected to win or shouldn't stand a fighting chance, the only thing that matters is what happens in the few minutes that follow the ring of the bell signaling round one.
