Michael Hogan at a Syfy party in New York City; Crystal Reed and Tyler Posey work the crowd at Comic-Con 2011.
Please excuse us for a moment. We're going to depart from our regularly scheduled hyper-cool persona and get uncharacteristically geeky. (Bear with us -- it'll take like 10 more seconds.)
For anyone that's been in Colonel Tigh's corner since you saw the effects the First Cylon War had on him, learning that the "Battlestar Galactica" hero is slated to join Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes and the rest of the talented "Teen Wolf" crew next season is a genius idea and something worth getting excited about.
OK, slipping our cool hats back on. We promise.
According to HollywoodReporter.com, Michael Hogan (from "BSG") is all signed up to hunt mythological creatures. "Hogan will play Allison's grandfather, Gerard, a lethal werewolf hunter who attempts to convince her to join the family business," the article reports. Also joining Hogan in the new lineup is Stephen Lunsford from "Private Practice" and Daniel Sharman of "The Nine Lives of Chloe King." Don't expect the newbies to play nice guys, either; Lunsford will cause some drama for our favorite star-crossed couple. "[He] will play Matt, a teenager with an eye for photography who will compete with Scott for Allison's affections." Sounds like twubble...
