A few minutes after his name was first mentioned on last night's episode of "Jersey Shore," the mysterious Unit, Mike's friend from home, was trending worldwide on Twitter. We've never seen said Unit, and we don't know exactly what he knows, but "The Situation" alleged the guy was around the night of his and Snooki's supposed affair, and can vouch for his fellow article-as-a-first-name buddy.
Mike used his friend as a means to smell out a rat in the house, sure that if Sammi or Deena mentioned "Unit" to Snooki, he would know who had been gossiping. The plan pretty much backfired, and all hell broke loose in the Florence pad; the best thing to come out of it were some funny fan-generated jokes about Mike's pawn.
