The gorilla behind the disapproving long-distance phone calls finally showed his face on tonight's episode, but before Jionni touched down in Florence, Snooki and her "Jersey Shore" cohorts accomplished a lot! Not only did Team Meatball avoid getting deported after colliding with a police car, the girls were also successful at helping Jenni drown her sorrows over Roger's unbudging work schedule with a vineyard's worth of Chianti.
Snooks was understandably anxious as the seconds until her boyfriend came to town quickly ticked away (so much so that she was unable to lay down a habitual No. 2, she confessed to Deena). As Pauly pointed out, there was a whole lot the couple had to discuss. The last time Snooki brought up Mike's claim that she and "The Situation" had hooked up, Jionni didn't take it too well; plus, he'd only heard the bare-bones version of the Meatball Mashup. When the doorbell finally rang, though, and Nicole managed to put down her glass of nerve-calming wine, she and her juicehead celebrated the heartwarming moment with a hug, a tear or two and an immediate trip to the Smush Room.
While the sheets were a-soiling, Mike's paranoia became all too evident, as he told Vinny he was sure Jionni knew the truth about Snooki's rumored infidelity. Convinced the kid was ready to strike back, Sitch prepared for blows with a practice roundhouse kick in the parlor. "Sensei Situation" was born.
Meanwhile, with the stress of the car accident behind her, and to welcome Jionni to Italy in style, Snooki pulled herself together and prepared for a night on the town by slipping into a dress that left little to the imagination (and, later, nothing at all). At the bar, Snionni shared a warm and fuzzy couple's kiss, while Mike continued to convince himself that Jionni was throwing dirty looks his way.
Sometime in between Snionni sweetly agreeing to get married and JWOWW sprinting across cobblestone in 4-inch heels heels, Snooki publicly flashed her lady parts, sending Jionni into a jacket-throwing rage. He stormed out of the club and managed to evade a bro-bonding moment with Ron as he took his own self-directed tour of the city.
After a few wipeouts on the street, Snooks screamed at her roommates, drew Jenni into the pair's first-ever BFF fight and eventually melted into a ball of tears and globby mascara. By the time she made it home, Jionni was nowhere to be found. Even Jenni, who literally searched for him until her feet bled, had no luck locating the guy who had arrived only six hours earlier.
You won't find your happy ending here. Jionni eventually made his way back to the house, passing Nicole on the stairwell and telling her she was officially single. He then packed his bag and jetted, leaving our poor Snooks to sob herself to sleep.
