Well that didn't exactly go as expected. When y'all originally saw the Episode 5 sneak peek of "Jersey Shore," it probably seemed as if Ronnie was seconds away from smoking Mike's prosciutto (83 percent of you actually bet on it), but in a weird (and somewhat comical) twist of events, Sitch ended up knocking himself out before Ron could do any real damage. The wall that Mike's skull impulsively attacked was left completely unscathed while the ol' Master of Disaster got escorted by ambulance to the nearest hospital. He returned home much later in the day sporting a neck brace and appearing on the verge of tears.
Forget about 'Poor Deena'...Poor Mike is in the hizzz! Someone give this man a hug.
Months after taping, Mike can now laugh off his misguided head butt and even exudes orthopedic pride for enduring the wrath of his unbudging concrete opponent. "My head was so hard, the doctor said that I didn't even have a mark...They said all I did was get whiplash from banging it so hard." In the below video clips from our recent "Jersey Shore" cast interviews, he shares more of his 20/20 hindsight on the brawl and Ron explains that the experience actually strengthened their bond. Check it out, plus re-watch that awkward moment when they hashed things out and vote on whether you think Sitch could have won the fight if he didn't get, well, distracted. He's confident it would have been an even match.
