Farrah and her mother, Debra, have made great strides in their relationship since their ugly physical altercation at the start of Season 2, but on tonight's episode of "Teen Mom," the pair unintentionally resurrected some of that old energy when they took a family trip out West.
For awhile now, Farrah has been desperate to break away from the security of her parents' care and coddling, and just like many other people her age tend to do, she's been searching for a new home to call her own. While Debra understands her daughter's need to assert her independence, she never expected a move out of state, and it's not sitting well.
Farrah's desire to pick up and leave with Baby Sophia has been the source of much tension, but apparently, that wasn't the only reason for all of the underlying negativity in Arizona. In our latest "Teen Mom After Show," Farrah reveals to host SuChin Pak that her parents had been going through a divorce during this time period, and from it sprung a lot of confusion--mainly because Debra and Michael were still living together.
+ Check out this .com exclusive video clip from the after show, where Farrah opens up about the elephant in her family's shared hotel room, then voice your opinion about the argument that erupted during their "disaster" of a vacation.
