This week, one of the more comment-provoking stories on Remote Control focused on Farrah's desire to break away from her parents' constant babying and move across the country. A lot of fans felt very passionately about her decision, as well as how she handled telling her parents--here's a sprinkling of what was posted on Remote Control and the "Teen Mom" Facebook page:
Remote Control
"Farrah needs to realize that if she doesn't stop speaking with that nasty attitude, rolling her eyes and basically stopping her feet like a child, she is going to have a daughter who sees nothing wrong with it when she is older." -- Linda
"If Farrah wants to be trusted, she needs to treat her parents with respect instead of acting like a teenager. Open up to her parents, discuss how she's going to make the transition with Sophia. Listen to what her parents have to say without jumping down their throats." -- Brandy Barnett
"She should move away as far as possible. Maybe then she will realize how much her family is helping her and appreciate it more." -- kvetinka
Facebook:
"She is a wonderful mother and person but she needs to work on being a little nicer to her mother and father. She needs to show them more respect." -- Bobbie F.
"I am on Farrah’s side, she is a grown up and can move if she wants. It’s her life, and she knows what she’s doing – she is perfectly able to take care of her child." -- Deany S.
"She is very ungrateful, at least her mom is really putting forth the effort to make things right." -- Annemarie B
All of these viewers feel very differently about Farrah's decision-making and relationship with her parents, but how do you feel? Should she still plan to move away to prove to them that she's grown, or does she need their help more than she realizes? Let's keep the convo going!
