Once upon a time, Jamie Chung was the nice girl with obsessive study habits and terrible taste in dudes on "Real World: San Diego." Since then, she's ditched the abacus/textbook regimen for roles in "Sucker Punch," "Sorority Row" (with Audrina Patridge, who gets offed way before Jamie does!) and, most recently, "The Hangover: Part II." While her Hollywood career is flourishing, the girl who was once a roommate to the likes of "Challenge" vets Robin and Brad took the opportunity recently to reach down into her roots, LC style.
TheBeautyDepartment.com, a hair, makeup and general women's interest how-to blog that Lauren Conrad co-created, currently features a familiar face from the beaches of San Diego alongside tips to make the perfect floral crown and the most flattering mixed-print nail polish patterns (cough, football). Jamie shows off to site visitors how to brighten eyes, promote beauty in Asian features and make a certain blogger feel completely emasculated. But, hey, she looks damn good.
The MTV exes' path-crossing adds up to only one of many lately, so it seems an official network-wide family reunion should be seriously considered. Ben and Whitney? Lauren and Colton? The list of (sometimes kissing) cousins keeping each other company becomes lengthier by the minute, and, if we could be so bold, we can't wait for the day when Snooki finally comes face-to-face with Daria.
