He made quite a knightly entrance on the "My Life as Liz" season premiere by saving Liz Lee from death by Dumpster, but tonight we got a much closer look at Louis' true character (could he be any sweeter?) when he shared a sunset walk along the water--hand-in-hand--with our quirky redheaded heroine. Still, we've got so much more to learn about Liz's cute new musician friend-crush if he's going to become a steady part of her life (all signs point to yes).
Don't worry, we're one step ahead of ya. We recently invited Louis and his bandmate Jordan to our Times Square studio to get a sense of what his music's all about, and, of course, to poke and prod about his feelings for Liz. Check out this clip from the interview, where he classifies Liz as "her own breed," plus watch him and Jordan perform live here.

Things between Liz and ironic T-shirt-sporting Bryson were going far too well on tonight's episode of "My Life As Liz," so we weren't shocked to learn towards the end that he was two-timing her (it was all just unfolding too perfectly for our unlucky heroine). Liz, on the other hand, was completely surprised. When Sully dropped the secret girlfriend bomb on her, she was crushed--she and B-Man just spent a nearly-seamless romantic weekend together!
+ Liz let Bryson leave town without bringing up his infidelity, but was that the right move? Should she call him on it or sweep it--and him--under the rug? Take the poll and let us know what you think about this latest buzz kill.

It's still not quite clear whether or not Kieffer's a good match for Jenelle. On one hand, he's served as the voice of reason in her life, often pointing out her own inappropriate behavior and telling her when she's at fault. Yet on tonight's episode of "Teen Mom 2," we saw Jenelle assume total financial responsibility of their relationship by offering to use a portion of her school money to pay for their rent. Sound fair?
+ Do you think Kieffer's a slacker who's slowing Jenelle down, or does his emotional support count more than his employment status? Take the poll, then check out a clip from this week's "Teen Mom 2 After Show," where Jenelle talks about how enrolling in college has improved her life--her relationship with her mom Barbara has even grown. Jenelle's concerned with Kieffer's ability to contribute, but she's focused and believes everything will work out.

Lately it seems as if Leah's been getting slammed with nothing but bad news about Ali's health, but things with Corey have never been better. In fact, on tonight's episode of "Teen Mom 2," Corey was so confident in their relationship that he brought her down to the lake and proposed to her by way of fishing rod.
Check out a clip from this week's "Teen Mom 2 After Show," where the newly engaged mom of two shows off her bling to host SuChin Pak and says that it feels so good to be engaged. Chelsea jumps in and compliments Corey on his technique, which was definitely original!

Many of the young people we've met on "I Used To Be Fat" have looked to food to provide them with much more than a full stomach. Sometimes they eat for comfort, other times it's to escape their everyday heartache. Next week we'll meet Kelly, a high school graduate that lost her father and has used food to deal with it ever since. Check out a sneak peek from the new episode below, where her mom says that she fills the void of losing her dad with unhealthy snacks. Kelly feels like a huge disappointment, so hopefully she'll find a way to reshape her self-confidence in addition to her figure.

If the steadily growing number of "My Life as Liz" fans is any indication, geekdom is no longer the smelly curse it was portrayed as back in the days of "Sixteen Candles" and "Revenge of the Nerds" (two '80s classics every pop culture guru MUST see to claim credibility). And it's definitely no longer the sum of whiteheads + orthodontic appliances + broken eyeglasses (have you seen Liz lately? Stunning!). In fact, an article published earlier in the week on CNN.com implies that it's actually becoming pretty damn cool to keep a custom-made light saber in your cubicle, or attend Comic Con dressed up as Chewbacca. (Well, maybe the latter's a little extreme.)
We second that notion, but you're probably not surprised.
If MTV didn't think highly of the large groups of people who engage so passionately in niche hobbies such as comic book collecting, we would have never introduced you to Liz Lee (or Daria!) in the first place. Or launched our brand new Geek website, which aims to provide the geek community with a forum to get overly excited about franchises like "Green Lantern" and Masters of the Universe Classics.
The site's creator, Tom Akel, explains its inception: "You'd be surprised how many people here got excited when we started the site and were already huge fans of some aspect of what we'd be covering and developing. Who knew design director Laurel Woods was on the packaging of Rebesl Assault II? Or that producer Brad Hatfield still wears his "Green Lantern" Underoos? There was a void on MTV.com for this content and it was clear that we needed a place for it ... if for no other reason than to get Brad to keep his pants on."
'Course, the legitimacy of Liz's geekiness has been called into question by those who just can't picture her curled up on a Lazy Boy reading about super villains. (Oh haters, must you creep up everywhere?) We can assure you, she's a 100 percent geek/nerd/dork. Just take a look at the video below to see her going wild like a sorority pledge during 2010 Comic Con.
+ We've shared our opinion (geek=chic) but we want to hear your take on the matter. Has the definition of the term geek changed over time? Is it no longer taboo to act like Steve Urkel, play robot wars in the school cafeteria and have little interest in sports that require a ball? Take the poll and tell us whether or not you think the nerd herd should rule the world!

Every Friday we thumb through your comments from the most talked about post of the week and highlight each side of the argument. Check out the latest That's What You Said below and make sure to share your own opinion!
This week, one of the more controversial stories on Remote Control focused on Chelsea from "Teen Mom 2"'s disruptive roommate situation. After letting her baby's father, Adam, move in, her relationship with BFF Megan started to unravel, and by the end of the episode, Megan had moved out. We asked you whether or not Chelsea should have tried harder to fix her friendship, and here's what you had to say:
"That house was meant for her and Megan to move into together and Chelsea's dad was supposed to pay the rent. Chelsea should have made that perfectly clear to Adam. He had no right to tell Megan to pay rent or move out. He's not even supposed to be living there." -- Francine
"Megan was totally right when she said that she was there for Chelsea through everything that Adam did to her! Chelsea needs to wake up and stand up for her best friend. [She] is going to end up losing her best friend for good and then she will be left with no one." -- Vanessa
"Megan was like a second mom to Aubree; she was always there for Chelsea, and she basically gave up some of her youth to help out. How many other teenage girls would do that for a friend? That's like above and beyond, I seriously wish my friends were half that great." -- CountrySunshine
All three viewers have slightly different perspectives, but how do you feel? Was Adam in the wrong for getting involved in the household finances, or was Chelsea completely at fault for not defining the payment rules? Let's keep the conversation going!

Lauren Conrad and her former bestie Whitney Port may be in the middle of a reality-star feud, but that didn't keep LC from putting on a happy face and celebrating her 25th birthday--again--in Las Vegas this weekend. At Pure Nightclub in Sin City, the former Hillzie wore a brown sequin Farah Kahn dress, black Jimmy Choo heels and super-high bun to accentuate her pretty eyes, similar to the one Whit sported in May. (See below for head-to-toe shots of Lauren's look.)
+ So, whose bun do you like more? Put this beauty face-off to rest and let us know which gal looks better with her hair pulled back!

We can all agree that watching the "Jersey Shore" is ridiculous fun, but opinions about the scandalous things that happen each episode tend to run the gamut, especially between genders. So that's why we started this here "XY vs. XX" column, where every week two college-aged fans of the show (one with boy junk and one with girl junk) will share their shameless take on the latest drams. Check out this week's feature on Episode 8.
XY Says: "At this point, I think me and Sammi need a break." --Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
"Then why the hell are you sending her roses drenched in tears?" --The collective "Jersey Shore" audience
Memories of Sammi's departure still loom heavily over the Shore house, with Ron desperately trying to ensure that every inhabitant of New Jersey knows the pain and heartache that he's suffering. As he stands alone in Karma, teary-eyed and staring longingly into the distance, you get the sense that this would be an incredibly poignant and sympathetic moment for the big ol' lunkhead; if, of course, we hadn't witnessed him brutally "renovating" his and Sammi's bedroom last week.
Snooki breaks down the facts for him in her typically confrontational manner, but it's clear that Ron struggles to see past the infatuation. The level of obsession in this relationship almost surpasses that of Twilight's, the only difference being that when Ron sees sunlight he doesn't sparkle, he slaps on a pair of d-bag aviators.
All this moping and crying is almost enough to dampen the spirits of even the most happy-go-lucky of the "Jersey" housemates, as when a prank war is brought to an unsatisfying halt by "The Snitchuation." Couple this with his blatant disrespect for Guy Code when he attempts to pull a robbery on both Pauly and Vinny, and what we have on our hands here, ladies and gentleman, is an unequivocal--that's right--SITUATION.
Sitch is becoming to Season 3 what Angelina was to Seasons 1 and 2, and as much as I like the guy (how can you NOT respect anyone who refers to themselves in the third-person?) it can't be long until MVP is forced to drop a letter from that beloved acronym.
Paul (aka XY) studied at Birmingham and writes for Coedmagazine.com. Get your bro on.

XX Says: Last night's episode of "Jersey Shore" may have been physically Sammi-free, but we were all still privy to the SamRon drama that everyone loves to hate. I can't complain too much though, since Pauly D and Vinny got to pull a few moves and I even enjoyed Doctor/Chef/Steal-Your-Girl "Snitchuation," who despite his lack of respect for Prank Wars, had some good one-liners.
Still, Ronnie's (or shall we say Eeyore's) tears got the majority of screen time: at the T-shirt store, back at the house, hiding in the bathroom, huddled up under his leopard blanket in the room he once shared with his beloved (and Sitch). Where will it end? And where did it begin? How does Ron go from a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot to a 13-year-old girl who just got her first period?
From the looks of next week's previews, there might be some reconciliation in sight, which is disheartening. It took 2.5 seasons, but I was finally proud of Sam (or at least she wasn't making me scream at the TV) when she stood up for herself and walked out on Ron. I was happy for her when I saw her snuggling up with her puppy and getting some life advice (and a real family dinner) from her mama. And she's gonna give all that up for a toilet-clogging crybaby who sends her flowers?
Girl, get yourself a new flat iron, unpack your bags and STAY HOME. Stay away from Ron. Everyone knows that boy can't change. If you don't know that yet, then your issues are more serious than Deena's gastronomical distress, and returning to the Shore is probably not the finest idea.

If you're plugged into Twitter (and who isn't these days?), then you may have noticed Marc Jacobs' new social media campaign. The fashion darling announced that he was searching for someone to run his clothing line's Twitter account, and you'll never guess who's trying to make a case for the job! Spencer Pratt, rapper extraordinaire. While we don't necessarily think runway chic when we consider the former "Hills" star (sorry, the image of him wearing his tie-dye shirt is forever burned in our brains), he's pretty witty when forced to scribble in 140 characters or less. Might not be a bad gig!
Elsewhere, embarrassed Snooki took to Twitter following last night's episode of "Jersey Shore," where we saw just how she and her now-boyfriend Jionni LaValle met each other (it's OK, Snooks!), and Pauly complained to his followers that he's been feeling under the weather. Take some Zinc vitamins, they're all the rage!
