Sometimes less is more, like when you're deciding on how many trends to incorporate into an outfit (but don't tell that to a Kardashian sister who's getting ready to pose for an upcoming holiday card). Other times, the more ocular stimulation, the better, which is why every single promo for MTV's gritty new series "Skins" (premieres Jan. 17 at 10/9c) has us completely hooked. Hey, New Yorkers! If you haven't locked in your New Year's Eve plans (and aren't up for standing in crowded Times Square for a little holiday cheer jeer), then maybe you'll consider attending JWOWW's bash at Club Amnesia. Earlier today, she tweeted that she's hosting a party with two of Angelina Pivarnick's biggest frenemies, Jay 420 and Joey Yanks (they were the two guys who told Jenni that Angie had been talking  s***about her last season. Total dramafest, right?). Hopefully, Snooki will make a cameo following her Midtown stunt. If so, we're totally crashing!

We're not sure what the rest of the "Jersey Shore" cast has planned for the big night, but we have a feeling Ronnie might stay indoors--dude is not a fan of the frigid weather! And hopefully Vinny can get his laundry situation under control so he doesn't have to borrow Uncle Nino's argyle socks to go out.

Only one month ago, Life & Style's Scene Queens claimed that Lo Bosworth and her boyfriend of a year and a half, Scott Hochstadt, were thisclose to getting engaged. Guess they spoke to soon, as now every online tabloid across the internets is reporting "exclusively" (do we really have to remind editors of the word's definition?) that the couple has split.

According to In Touch Online's "exclusive," Lo and Scott's busy lives are to blame for the breakup, and the two have parted amicably. “Both of their careers are taking off right now,” an insider told the website. But Life & Style (yes, the same people who reported the imminent engagement) is singing another tune, saying that Scott may have had ulterior motives. "I'm not sure if Scott was in the right relationship for the right reasons," a friend of Lo's told the site. "I don't know if Scott loved Lo so much as he loved the fame."

Lo Bosworth's never been a prude, but she has typically been the more conservative dresser among her former "Hills" costars. Well, things they are a-changin'! At an event for Jeep, Maxim and "Call Of Duty: Black Ops" last week, she flaunted her fig in a pastel pink dress with deep neckline, and a few days before that, she slipped on a slinky black Herve Leger number and beamed for the cameras.

On tonight's episode of "Bully Beatdown," we met Mike from the Boogie Down Bronx, a 5-foot-4-inch mean guy with a serious Napoleon complex. After the New York street brawler met his match, MMA fighter Alex Alvarez, he lost all confidence (Mike barely lasted a minute in Round 2 before falling to his knees from a few leg kicks!).

Something told us that the second bad driver Johnny Pemberton got behind the wheel of the world's fastest 0-60 mph car on tonight's episode of "Megadrive," dangerous traveling would ensue. And that's exactly what happened. It didn't take long before he and the super-fast Ariel Atom tester, Joe Cooley, careened into the side of the road, but JB eventually regained control and got back into the vehicle.

Check out the bonus video below, where the host decides to bring his lunch into the car. He dives face-first into a sandwich, which of course, goes everywhere. Probably not the best place to eat a meal.
