Months ago, rumors circulated that Pauly D might score his own solo show, and it looks as if things are headed in that direction. Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production, said yesterday in a statement that MTV closed a series option deal with the "Jersey Shore" castie to pick up his pilot, which was shot by 495 Productions (the company behind "Shore") back in September. According to the release, the network felt that Pauly's "distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can't help but want to hang out with and we know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore."
