When I was 18 years old I went with my then best friend to Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles to get the proverbial coming of age tattoo: a letter from the Chinese alphabet. Everyone teased me for being so predictable and cliché, but I just wasn't ready for a big statement (yet!).
You know who recently was in the mood to get a permanent message across? Angelina Pivarnick, the rapping superstar.
Yesterday, the former "Jersey Shore" starlet tweeted a photo of her new wrist decor, which says "Misunderstood"--well, depending on the way you look at it. Sadly, many of her followers did, in fact, misunderstand, asking why the ink was upside down.
Frustrated with her critics, she returned to Twitter to set the record straight: "My tattos upside down soo ppl read it. Why r ppl not getting this???"
+ What do you think of Angie's new tat? Upside down or right side up? (Hey, at least it's spelled correctly!)
