VV Brown is unlike any woman I have ever met--filming with her was a challenging, complicated, dramatic and extremely fun ride. The British pop star plays to sold-out concerts all over Europe, where she is a huge celebrity. She can hardly walk down the street in France without getting swarmed by fans, and now she wants to break her music in the United States. Talk about drive.
The reason I came to love VV is not just because of her ambition--more than anything, I greatly admire her creativity. Never before have I met such a successful artist that played nearly every instrument, practiced her craft of songwriting and singing nearly every day and showcased such a devoted work ethic (she barely had a moment to breathe, but when she got one, she would then work on her comic book!). Passion can be contagious.
