Spencer and Heidi Pratt have always flaunted their wealth. From driving expensive cars and taking luxurious vacations to financing Heidi's pop music videos, as well as her boob jobs (among other physical 'spruce-ups'), the cash always appeared to be crisp and flowing.
Well, guess they're better actors than we once thought. The ostentatious couple admitted in an interview with Life & Style that they're now considering filing for bankruptcy and owe $2 million to Uncle Sam in taxes. Spencer's even looked into receiving unemployment checks.
We're not sure why they're coming forward about their money troubles (actually, we are--there's no such thing as bad publicity!), but at least they're sticking their tail between their legs, saying they "feel like idiots."
"We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part," Spencer told the mag. "In hindsight, we shouldn't have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved."
We appreciate the humility, but we do have to wonder whether or not Speidi is ready to give up the spotlight and begin living a "low-key" existence. Cash comes and goes, but fame...You can't really stage a photo op at the 99 cent store. (Or can you? Mwahahahaha!)
