Tonight we saw how tricky it can be for a single mother to nurture her own dreams. In Kyle, Maci has found everything she was looking for in a partner. She (understandably) wants to move closer to him, but her baby's father, Ryan, (also understandably) doesn't want her to create more distance between himself and Bentley.
While their custody issues will now have to be left up to the court, the one thing Maci and Ryan can agree on is that Bentley's better off with his mom and dad not together as a couple. As Maci tells SuChin Pak in this Teen Mom After Show clip, with Ryan it was all lust and high school and pretty trucks. They simply weren't meant to be together. (On the flip side, a couple of teen moms in the audience praise their baby's fathers for being their biggest support system, so kudos to those guys!)
