It was about time Stephanie Pratt broke out of her serious, dark period and showed off her stems in a fun summer shade. At XIV restaurant in Hollywood earlier this week, the ex-Hillzie was glowing in an emerald green halter dress with a deep neckline and buttons down the front. She paired the frock with tan Yves Saint Laurent strappy stilettos and a chain-strap purse.
+ Take a look at Steph sporting more jewel-toned outfits and let us know if you prefer seeing her draped in happy colors or her recent black fashions.

We're no Randy Jackson, but we're guessing that if you wanna make it in tha biz, you need a whole lotta charisma and talent. We've all heard Sahar harmonize inside the "Real World: New Orleans" shower, but the girl is definitely off-key in the confidence department. On tonight's episode, she made huge strides by mustering up the courage to grab the mic and do her thing in front of a room of strangers. Even though she messed up and forgot a few words (OK, more like lines), she was resolute on that stage and that's all that really matters ... right?
+ You've heard Sahar sing, so does she have a shot at becoming a successful artist? Or is she just too darn shy? Take the poll and share your opinion!

The "Real World: New Orleans" whodunits never seem to stretch beyond the limits of the bathroom. First it was the urine-coated toothbrush caper, and tonight Ashlee found her year-old, half-consumed bottle of Percocet empty. Pinning the crime on Ryan was easy until he hot potatoed the blame over to Knight, whose addictive past made for a semi-believable story ... even coming from Ryan. Frustrated with his roommates' lack of confidence, Knight marched to the pharmacy to pick up a drug test, peed his truth for all to see and proved to everyone -- except Sahar -- that he wasn't the sticky-fingered prescription meds thief.
+ Put on your Sherlock hat and tell us who you think took Ashlee's pills. Was it Ryan, Knight or someone else? Take the poll!

The original focus of "Teen Mom" was to highlight the ups and downs young women face when raising a child born from an unexpected pregnancy, but since the series first aired, we've also gotten a unique opportunity to see the babies' dads struggle to find their own place in this brave, new world. One such dad is Tyler, who together with his girlfriend Catelynn made the heartbreaking decision of planning an open adoption for their daughter Carly.
Since Season 1, we've caught many glimpses of Tyler's sadness and confusion, but it's his supportiveness of Catelynn that's attracted the most attention on "Teen Mom" -- that is, until lately. As Season 2 moves forward, fans of the show are witnessing Ty's delayed acceptance and unresolved resentment as he finally begins to explore his own raw emotions, which is why we thought it was time to sit down with him for a personal interview.
Below, watch two clips from SuChin Pak's one-on-one with the sweet, caring father/fiance we've all grown to love. In the first video, Tyler explains that he's come to terms with his own father's weaknesses and limitations, which has put his mind at peace. In the second, he describes his selfless dream for Carly.

Knight's ability to calm down his "Real World: New Orleans" roommates and keep them from punching each other has often made him the voice of reason in the house, but when he's not busy refereeing Ryan and Preston, Knight plays a much different role -- the accomplice. Check out this gnarly sneak peek from tonight's all-new episode, where Ryan notices that one of their tropical fish has died, and instead of doing the right thing (which, in this scenario, would be just about anything other than what's actually done), he and Knight decide to fry Nemo and eat him for dinner! Now, we don't know much about cooking a pet, but aren't you -- at the very least -- supposed to rinse it off first?

During Season 1 of "Jersey Shore," a few of the cast members had their families come visit them in Seaside Heights (who can forget Vinny's ma's pasta feast, or Sammi's disastrous meet-and-greet with Ronnie's mom?), but we never really paid attention to who bore a resemblance to their relatives -- except, of course, for when The Situation invited over his sister.
Thanks to an amazing photo gallery on UsMagazine.com, we were able to line up each Shorer next to their respective parent(s) and thoroughly examine their family genes. Check out the hot shots, then vote on who looks the most like their mom or pops!

Wanna get "MADE" into a rock star? Just Kait singer Kaitlyn DiBenedetto knows a little something about that. Born and bred in New Jersey (a.k.a. The State That Springsteen Put On The Map), Kaitlyn borrowed her dad's drumset at age five, picked up her first guitar as a pre-teen and started slappin' da bass ("I Love You, Man," anyone?) before the rest of us had even passed Drivers Ed. By sweet sixteen, her punk pedigree also grew to include songwriting, and she scored her first big break when her song, "U Suck," was chosen as the new (and appropriately named) theme song to MTV's dating disaster series, "Parental Control".
So what makes this girl different from all other aspiring Avrils? That'd be her edge. After you get past Kaitlyn's wholesome, girl-next-door looks (think Amanda Bynes), you'll notice she's actually rockin' some razor-sharp vocals (think Joan Jett). Her femme, Fall Out Boy-style single, "Heart Shaped Bruise" is more Pixies punk than Selena sweet, and her steamy cover of "Hot Stuff" is enough to make Miley Cyrus and the Disney Dream Team blush.
Now at the ripe old age of eighteen, Kaitlyn's already released her first EP, Being On TV (Again), seen her new single, "Sick," tearin' it up on E! and landed a killer track ("Girls World") in "MADE, The Movie" (slow down, girl!). Download her pump-you-up pop anthem for free at MTV.com, plus peep Just Kait's upcoming VMA tour dates, watch the music videos for "Sick" and "U Suck," and then check out the rest of the "MADE, The Movie" soundtrack, below!

Last week, Olivia Palermo attended the Manhattan launch party for Timex Originals at the ultra-swanky department store, Henri Bendel. The "City" star posed for paps in a peasant top with delicate lace around the neckline, a multicolored skirt bursting with rich, golden hues and some awesome cut-out Elizabeth and James wedge booties. Her color palate of choice was a bit reminiscent of something she wore earlier this year at -- where else -- Bendel's. Maybe reddish-gold is de rigueur on 5th Ave?

In an attempt to debunk some myths about periods, Kim Stolz and her friends have been traveling throughout the country to talk with some popular MTV casties about their cycles. Their first stop was New York City, where the girls gabbed with "My Life As Liz" star Liz Lee. Later they headed down South to ask the "Real World: New Orleans" ladies whether they were comfortable chatting about their monthly woes with their guy roomies. Now, Kim's at a cheerleading camp speaking with a group of young athletes.
Check out the video below to hear from the spirited teammates about how their period has become much less of a big deal since when they first got it. We sure hope these girls are watching tonight's "MADE: The Movie," a story about an unpopular band geek that wants to land a spot on the school's cheerleading team -- maybe they're looking for a new recruit?

Ever wanted to witness the reality of other people's daily lives -- firsthand? Andrew Jenks thought about it from an early age, and he ultimately got proactive about exploring his curiosities by shooting two acclaimed documentaries. In his latest project for MTV, Jenks embeds himself (and his camera crew) in a modern-day social experiment. "The World Of Jenks" follows the young filmmaker as he bunks with a different stranger each week, experiencing their highs and lows right along their side. Expect to see this likable, down-to-earth guy trail the victory of a rough-edged rapper and even tag along with a drifter as she looks for a place to rest her head. It's unapologetically gritty, gripping and, most importantly, real. Check out the trailer below and be sure to tune in Monday, September 13 at 10/9c for the eye-opening premiere.
