Throughout this season of "If You Really Knew Me," we've heard a number of students admit to bottling their emotions up inside. Afraid of what would happen if their peers found out the truth, some kids turned to humor as a means of sweeping their pain underneath the rug. On tonight's episode, we traveled to Oklahoma City and met Malcolm, the class clown who most of the school had heard of, but few -- if any -- actually knew. On Challenge Day, he opened up and told everyone about his painful backstory and daily struggles.
+ At the end of the experience, Malcolm grabbed the mic and shared his real life with everyone in the room. It was humbling to see him stop hiding behind his wit and, instead, thank his teachers and classmates for their support. Can you relate to hiding pain behind comedy? Take the poll and feel free to share.
