Justin Bobby Brescia didn't make his way onto "The Hills" until the series' third season, but his flirtation with Audrina Patridge started way before that. On today's "The Hills: Revealed" special, show producers unsealed their lips to tell the juicy backstory, which included a spot-on first impression of Drina's perpetual sorta-boyfriend from Supervising Producer Spike Van Briesen: "When I first met Justin, he looked like a character out of 'Lord of the Rings.'" And like all hobbits, the badboy celeb hairstylist (he once got a glowing review from Maroon 5's Adam Levine!) wasn't really into crowds, or cameras.
Justin (at that point he only had one first name) refused to be shot when spending time with Audrina, and for a while it looked like her "Hills" days were numbered because all her personal drama was happening behind the scenes. But finally Audrina gave JB an ultimatum. She told him, "If you want to hang out with me, you have to be on camera."
Never let it be said that Justin didn't love Audrina at one time because the quiet beast finally agreed to film with the beauty just so he could be around her. And more importantly, Audrina was able to stop going on awkward first dates with d-bags and bring her real life into full view.
Good story, eh? Too bad 'Drina also has Justin to thank for crushing her soul every season since. Anywho, there are many more production secrets from where that one came.
