Once you're in with the "Jersey Shore" crew, you're in. If you're lucky, you can even take part in the family festivities. (Caveat: Pale people, Ed Hardy haters and those who need a full eight hours of sleep are for the most part excluded.) Because Angelina left the Season 1 house so abruptly, she never quite made it into the Trust Circle, and the Staten Island native recently admitted to Remote Control that she had been very nervous to return to the show.
"I was definitely scared to see everybody and see their reactions when I walked through the door," she told us at our Miami shoot. "I was kinda dreading seeing Jenni and Snooki, and even though Mike and I kept in touch, I was dreading his little low-blow comments. I didn't really want to deal with that."
We can sympathize with Angelina's hesitance to film again with the rowdy, say-it-to-your-face crowd -- there's not enough money under "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Theresa's mattress that could have tempted us to go back and face the house music. So what were Angelina's reasons for giving it a second try?
"I wanted to see what everybody else went through that I didn't go through. I wanted to become a family like I was supposed to on Season 1 with everybody." Did she get her wish? Hate to say it, but you'll have to watch Season 2 to find out. (We know, that's the most annoyingly unjournalistic answer ever, but we're not in the current position to cause a mass riot security leak.)
