When "Hills" blast-from-the-past Jen Bunney divulged to UsMagazine.com earlier today that her plans for summer fun included making her casa also Heidi Pratt's casa, many speculated whether the announcement was all part of a publicity stunt to raise awareness about the longtime friends' new reality show. (New show? Wow, you shut off your BlackBerry for a holiday weekend, and all sorts of stuff happens. Note to self: Must not attempt to relax ever again.) But nope, Heidi's rep just confirmed with Us that her rumored split with Spencer is for realz and she is indeed moving in with JBunns.
We can't say we hadn't been smelling a little sumptim' sumptin' in paradise lately -- Heidi's sister Holly recently expressed major concern over her sister's mental state, implying that Spencer had been tampering with her connections to the rest of, well, society at large. (And don't get us started on which planet his head's been at.)
Anywho, it remains to be seen whether Speidi's breakup will last, though Us did have an insider's statement to offer: "There are no plans for divorce ... they are going through some issues. It's a hiccup."
And if it does turn out to be a bigger bump in the road? We just hope they plan to wear their war crystals for protection, cuz it's not likely we'll see either Spencer or Heidi waving the white flag when it comes to negotiating the separation of their savings, or photo ops.
