Was It A Good Idea For Chelsea To Change Her Daughter's Last Name?

On tonight's episode of 16 and Pregnant, we met Chelsea, whose wide-eyed innocence ended up causing her a lot of heartache. After delivering her premature daughter, Aubree Skye, she found herself chasing after boyfriend (and the baby's father) Adam, who was too busy repairing car engines to show up for fathering stints.

At the end of the episode, things took a dark turn when Adam called his daughter a "mistake." As a result, Chelsea decided to remove Adam's last name from her daughter's birth certificate, conceding that he didn't deserve that connection with Aubree.
