In the past, whenever Teen Mom's Catelynn felt sad about Carly (or angry with her mom and Butch), Tyler was always right there with a kind word and a reassuring hug. But this week, with Butch's future hanging in the balance and emotions running high, it was Tyler who needed an extra dose of comfort in the midst of all the family drama. Fortunately, Catelynn had no problem putting her own feelings aside and stepping in to boost his spirits.
Despite her complicated history with her stepdad, Catelynn stayed neutral, encouraging Tyler to speak his mind (about problems at home and at school) and try to make things right with Butch. And all that positivity eventually paid off! In the end, Butch walked out of the courthouse a free man and Tyler walked away with a newfound determination to rebuild their relationship.
Great teamwork, guys! We know if Carly were watching, she'd be very proud.
