Trying to balance babies with school, work and relationships is a juggling act at any age. So we can't begin to imagine how hard it's been for all our Teen Moms to get back some semblance of normalcy. Sure, being a parent comes first -- but as we saw with Amber this week, even the most devoted moms sometimes need a moment or two to themselves.
Unfortunately, having an active social life isn't always possible now that the girls' responsibilities have changed. And while no one's questioning Farrah's love for her daughter (or her desire for independence), some of you thought her family might've had a point when they urged her to stop trying to date like a "normal" teen.
"Farrah is spending way too much time focused on guys," 15-year-old Kowthar observed after watching the TM series premiere. "She's still stuck in her old life, but it's not realistic because she has a baby now."
For her part, the single mom-slash-aspiring model said the whole Cole experience made her rethink her stance on casual dating.
"I can't keep giving chances to [guys] I’m so uncertain about. Like Cole." Still, she's not ready to give up on meeting guys altogether. "[N]ow that I am trying to [date again]," she says, "I realize that I need a real man."
+ Think Farrah should take herself out of the dating game for a while? Or should her family back off and let her live her (personal) life? Join the discussion by telling us what you think about Farrah's decision to date!
