It's been some time since Joe Zee ordered Erin Kaplan to show Olivia Palermo the ropes, and natch, we've been waiting anxiously to see Elle's PR Director finally take Liv under her wing. But from the looks of this video, that's all far from happening on next week's City. Plus, over at People's Rev, Kelly Cutrone's putting the kibosh on Roxy Olin's creative brainstorms. Holy office anxiety! Watch as Roxy's efforts to help Whitney/impress Kelly fall just a little bit short while Erin and Liv get into yet another turf war.

Wednesday night, roomies (slash costars, slash coworkers slash joined-at-the-hipsters) Whitney Port and Roxy Olin got all dolled up and hit the party circuit in their red carpet finest. So how'd they avoid stepping on each other's toes? Simple: they stayed approximately three thousand miles apart. Yep, while Whit went West Coast wildin' at Us' Hot Hollywood party (along with Hillzies Stephanie Pratt, Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge), Roxy held down the fort in NYC at the taping of the 2009 mtvU Woodie Awards.

Check out both gals' gorge going-out ensembles (BTW, is it bad that Whit's lacy white frock reminds us of the "doily" dress from Reality Bites?!) and tell us whether you're more in love with Roxy's loose locks/copper-colored wrap -- or Whitney's delicate ringlets/beaded baby-doll.

As the reigning smog capital of the world, L.A's pretty much the last place you'd wanna go to bone up on your astronomy. So who lit up the room? Amid the usual melange of musicians, socialites and actresses (like Leona Lewis, Nicky Hilton and Eliza Dushku), Hillzies Kristin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt glimmered and shined in glitzy metallics, sparkly bangles and sexy corsets. Well, given the current financial sitch, our closet's mostly packed with discount designer duds, last season's markdowns, and items that could almost pass for the real deal. And since not everyone grew up on a steady diet of Loehmann's and Filene's Basement, we thought we'd share some of our tricks of the trade -- and show you how to get the look for less! Starting with: Lauren Conrad's latest red carpet ensemble.

LC looked like a million bucks at last night's Samsung launch party, sizzlin' in an LBD (with sexy, ruffled skirt), a flowy black cardigan and playful peep-toe pumps. Natch, we'd love to steal the clothes right off her back, but since we're stuck on separate coasts, we went to Forever21.com instead and found these similar styles (we particularly heart the tiered spaghetti strap dress!).

The best part? All together, the dress, cardi AND heels come out to just under $80 (the priciest item, the three-quarter length sweater, is only $27.80). Which means you'll still have plenty of loot left over to splurge on LC's metallic green mani-pedi before showing off that toe cleavage! Just make sure your nails are 100% dry before you go patting yourself on the back...

KellyAnne's taken quite a few helpings of Real World/Road Rules Challenge man candy over the seasons -- hey, it's not like she denies it -- but tonight we saw her all worked up about a rampant rumor that she and Dunbar played Hide The Piglet during their stint as roommates in Australia. Whatchu talkin' about, Kimberly?!

KellyAnne INSISTED on both Episode 8 of The Ruins and its Aftershow that she and Dunbar NEVER had sex ... though if you want to get technical, apparently they did other things (er, see naughty video below). And as is typical with any he said/she said debate, Dunbar's got a whole different story...

As far as Real World/Road Rules Challenge tussles go, tonight's brown liquor-induced beatdown (costarring Brad and Darrell) ranks right up there with CT's nervous breakdown all over Adam's face during The Duel 2. Fun to watch, prolly not as fun to participate.
