My purpose of telling Jen Rade about the 'situation' between Cody and Julie Weiss was not to make waves. I wanted to make sure that he wasn’t getting any unfair advantage over the rest of us. I approached Jen because she is our mentor in the program -- I didn’t think that any concern I voiced to her would be blown up into a huge ordeal. She squashed any doubts I had, and I thought everything was over and done with ... Boy, was I in for a treat.

Soon you will all start to see that Cody is a conniving little s**t. (Cody probably doesn't know what the word "conniving" means so I'm providing the Dictionary.com definition below.)
con⋅nive [kuh-nahyv]
–verb (used without object), -nived, -niv⋅ing.
1. to cooperate secretly; conspire (often fol. by with): They connived to take over the business Brett's shirt.
OK, now that I have that off my chest ... Hi, how is everyone? I hope you're all as glad as I am that I'm back in the program!
This week's job was a little weird for me. Though I come from an "urban" clothing background (I use the word "urban" very loosely), I think I felt a little intimidated working next to Cody. Wait, hold up ... what am I saying? I was NOT intimidated by Cody -- it was just that he'd been doing really well, and this might sound bad, but I could NOT have that happen! That's why I tried my whole "flirting" with Cody to throw him off. BTW: it was A LOT worse than what you all got to see. Ha!
I loved watching all this crazy drama unfold; the fight with Gary and Tara, and Cody trying to bang Julie. And what made it even more amazing? IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME! Finally, that damn rain cloud that was following me seemed to be gone.

Watching the Real World/Road Rules Challenges is like eating potato chips — once you start, you can’t stop. And since Wednesdays (at 10pm) always seem so far away, we’ll be sifting through the Challenge Dailies every weekday afternoon to give you your daily dose of The Ruins. You’re welcome.
If Evan's the Music Man of Ruinsville, Sarah's the cute (but tone deaf) townie who can't sing a note to save her life. Fortunately for Sarah, scatting's not about having perfect pitch, hitting all the right notes or channeling your inner Madonna -- it's about letting go of your reservations and singing what you feel! And, apparently, what Sarah feels is ... awkward, eager and inexplicably bubbly.
Watch as Evan leads the gang in a rousing round of freestyin' (side note: are these kids bored or what??) then criticizes Sarah for having the weakest "scat" of the group. Yeah, way to hit 'er where it hurts, dude.

Admiring your boss is one thing. Inviting her out for coffee, showering her with over-the-top compliments and telling us you think she's "pretty"? Now that's got bad idea written all over it.
Tonight on Styl'D, senior stylist Julie Weiss gets wind of Cody's "secret" crush when he calls her up and asks for a little one-on-time. But will she be flattered by his (unabashed) interest? Or completely turned off by his inappropriateness? Take a sneak peek of tonight's all-new episode, then tune in at 11pm to find out whether Cody's making a love connection -- or committing career suicide.

KellyAnne and Dunbar rehashed a lot of dirty/sexy laundry this week on The Ruins, but it was hardly the first time these two former Real World roomies (and possible lovahs!) butted heads. In addition to their Sydney falling out (where KellyAnne wrote D-bar off as a borderline misogynist), the two also clashed on The Island, leading to some pretty epic fights -- and some deliciously uncomfortable vows of revenge.
Check out the original RW/RR grudge match by watching these clips of KellyAnne/Dunbar talkin' smack on The Island. First up: KellyAnne threatens to expose Dunbar with two year-old text messages (scandalous!), then Dunbar goes apesh*t on the entire female race before wrapping it all up by offering to kill KellyAnne, "free" of charge. Ah, the way they were...

The first step to penning a bestseller? Write what you know. That's what Lauren Conrad did with her first book, L.A. Candy, and the novel -- a teen tome based on her life as a reality TV star -- is already getting the Hollywood treatment. Now, Lauren's looking to recreate that success by penning a nonfiction book based on her other area of expertise: fashion.
"I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are," LC told People.com of her upcoming style guide (appropriately titled Lauren Conrad: Style). "When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous."

This isn't the first time we've spied Olivia Palermo rocking the shagadelic vest. The City star stepped out in some fuzzy outerwear last week (pairing it with shiny leggings and an army green sweater), then brought it back Friday night (pix above!) at the Housing Works Fashion For Action event. And while Liv's not the first celeb to rock the furry look -- we've seen similar styles on Hills stars Heidi Pratt and Kristin Cavallari -- we're having trouble deciding how we feel about this touchable new trend. Are you impressed by the vest? Take the poll!

Jon Gosselin's not about to let a pesky little divorce stand in the way of his social calendar. Instead, the man best known for his opportunistic style of parenting (and Diddy-like obsession with shades) has been making the most of his newfound bachelorhood/15 minutes by hittin' the D-list party circuit and trying to mac on anyone with a uterus.
'Course, being a big-time celeb future has-been has its pitfalls -- like having trouble finding "real" girls who aren't intimidated by his meteoric rise to mediocrity. So much so, in fact, that he's devised a completely new plan of attack: start dating other celebrities! And who's at the top of Jon's Hollywood "Lust" List? According to StarMagazine.com, that'd be Lindsay Lohan, Kristin Cavallari and (drumroll please!) Whitney Port!
Ya gotta give Jon props for setting his sights so high. We're sure our fave City gal is appropriately flattered, though we're guessing she'd rather go out on another 100 dates with "Let's join forces" boy than agree to sit across the table from Kate's ex.

Most people know Hills star Kristin Cavallari as MTV's reigning drama queen, but the reality star-slash-actress isn't afraid to show off her lighter side. In addition to starring in the latest Van Wilder movie (and making fun of herself -- and Kate Gosselin -- for FunnyOrDie.com), K-Cav's also perfected the role of the ditzy Hollywood blonde!
Over the weekend, Kristin got into character by blabbing on her cell phone, knocking over a plant and spilling her cappuccino at an L.A. restaurant. Fortch, her clumsy diva act was all for show -- according to DailyFill.com, she was just filming another comedy sketch. Anyhow, check out these pix of the Method actor making a scene in West Hollywood!

Getting sick on The Ruins isn't exactly ideal. There's no one to bring you chicken soup or tea with honey, no one to fluff your pillows and no one to hand you the remote control (or the latest issue of Newsweek Cosmopolitan) and say "Now, you just concentrate on getting better." Nope, if you get the flu in Thailand, you're officially up shiz creek. Unless, of course, you happen to like being waited on by Nurse Kenny, Johnny the (Dis)Orderly and a room full of drunken idiots. Get a glimpse of Evan's hands-on medical "treatment" and keep your fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Looks like this patient's gonna need it...
