Sure, she's spent the past few seasons of The Hills trying to force Heidi and Lauren to kiss and make up. But for all her meddling, Stephanie's always been the kinder, gentler Pratt, a sensitive soul who's prone to tearful outbursts, saucer-eyed enthusiasm and using boyfriends as bodyguards. That is, until tonight.
Forget Kristin's dramatic debut -- this week, the biggest change in Hills country was Steph herself, who came back louder, fiercer and a bazillion times more self-confident than we've ever seen her before. In less than 30 minutes' time, the fiercely loyal gal pal had already staunchly defended Audrina, stood up to the profanity-spewing Kristin and even branded her a "bad news" boyfriend-stealer who once slapped beloved Hills goddess Lauren Conrad!
The new Stephanie couldn't have come at a better time. Think about it: with Spencer and Heidi getting all domesticated (i.e. holing away in that post-honeymoon porno pad), we NEED someone who's not afraid to speak her mind and call a spade a spade bitch a bitch. And who better to carry on the Pratt tradition than the girl who shares DNA with Spencer and learned at the heels of public relations pitbull Kelly Cutrone?!
+ What do you guys say: Think we're seeing a whole new Stephanie this fall? Let us know whether you like Steph better as a foil for her bro -- or a sassy spitfire who's already established herself as K-Cav's No. 1(ish) Enemy!
