Kelly Cutrone has frightened away many a young fashionista in her day (Stephanie Pratt, that Jessica chick and model-thin Allie), but Whitney Port's always been something of a golden child. Apparently, something about Whit's sweet, wide-eyed enthusiasm brought out the People's Rev puppet master's sentimental streak. Kelly lavished her protegee with special attention, hooking her up with DVF, setting her up with boring male models and acting more like her surrogate mom than her wicked stepmother.
But judging by what we've seen in the new City promos, Whit's luck may be about to change. When she caught up with MTV News crews on the VH1 Divas carpet, Whitney admitted her relationship with Kelly has evolved into a "love-hate" situation.
