Amber's been working hard to be a good role model for her daughter, Leah. But it doesn't help that Leah keeps getting older and older every day! Hear what Amber and her family have been up to since the Life After Labor special, and why Amber says she's sorting out her own life to help make Leah's better.
My life after the show has changed dramatically! There's some things that I'm working harder on in order to succeed for my daughter. I want her to look up to her mommy and be proud of me in the future. And the way my life was going, I just wasn't setting a good example for her.
The things I like best about being a mom are watching Leah grow and seeing how smart she has become. She is for sure a growing girl - I can already see a personality in her. She loves people and always wants to be noticed. Ugh..... here we go! I have to keep a close eye on her when she gets older for sure (haha)!
So what's my biggest challenge as a parent? Everything! I'm learning every day along with Leah so it seems to be harder every day. She is growing so fast, it's too fast! But now I'm trying to get my life in order, so juggling being a teen mom and trying to straighten out my life and mistakes, that's the challenge - putting the pieces in place.
My most romantic times with Gary are probably when we're just playing. And most definitely when he proposed to me; not only was it a shock, I felt he was growing with me and thinking about our future.
