Quest Crew's Steve Terada was on the ABDC set recently doing more then just scoping out the Season 4 crews: he was actually taking notes! Why? Terrada's been chosen by producers to teach the remaining dancers how to properly execute this week's assigned martial art skills.
We can't think of a better man for the job than this reigning ABDC champ and 11-time Karate U.S. World Open Champion (which is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Steve's martial art career), but Steve's very aware of the steep learning curve these crews will need to overcome.
"The hardest part of learning these types of techniques in such a short time is that each martial art style has unique punching, kicking, stances and body postures," Steve told us this morning. "All of these movements are very precise so it makes it difficult to master them in a matter of days."
Well, we're pretty sure everyone's in good hands ... but we'll find out soon enough. Make sure to tune into Sunday's night all-new episode of America's Best Dance Crew at 9pm!
