Appearing on Making the Band doesn't equal instant street cred. Especially if you wanna be taken seriously as an all-male R&B group. And according to Que Mosley, Day26 has struggled with shedding their reality tv shadow since, well, Day1. Fortunately, the success of their last TWO albums has helped prove they're the real deal. But that doesn't mean everybody's ready to concede dem boys got talent.
"I think vocally we're underestimated," Que said in a recent interview with BallerStatus.com. "I think now, we're starting to get our respect, but I think vocally, we are underestimated ... because of our TV show. I think people think we are reality TV stars. I think now, they're starting to believe more, more in us as artists. But I think one of our first problems we've faced were, we're TV stars and people thought we were just TV stars and didn't take us seriously."
+ Think the guys' vocal talent deserves more respect? Or will they always be Making the Banders first, Day26 second? Tell us whether you love the guys more for their music, their on-screen personas, or both!
