Ahh! The Hills season finale brought us the biggest moment in the series' history: LC's exit! (What, you thought we'd say that Speidi's wedding? Please, I saw those pics on the interwebs like a month ago).
Still, the wedding did not disappoint. Everyone showed up: Howard Hughes reincarnated in the body of Charlie, Stacie the Bartender got someone to cover her shift and Charles Manson escaped from prison to come -- oh wait, that was Justin Bobby.
Thanks to everyone who's watched and enjoyed our weekly Detox of The Hills -- as Hall and Oates once said, you make-ah my dreams come true ... Ooh oh, ooh, oh.
See you next season when we go full-on Team Cavallari, beep bop boop boop boop!

Leave it to Lauren Conrad and her friends to own the red carpet at tonight's MTV Movie Awards. A very relaxed LC took one final strut as the star of The Hills -- an honor which will be taken over by Kristin Cavallari come season six -- before heading inside for the main event. Check out the pics of the lovely ladies below, then tell us who you think looked the snazziest!
BONUS! After the jump, watch video of Audrina Patridge chatting up Project Runway's Christian Siriano about her flashy pink ensemble...

As we shed a tear and bid The Phone (and the Operator!) adieu, it's time we took a look back at all the episodes past and recapped our favorite -- and least favorite -- moments. Read on to find out whether the givers (i.e. peeps who split the money) outnumbered the takers (peeps who took the briefcase and ran), plus hear our votes for the Best Solo Challenge, Grossest Mission and Best/Worst Teams!

Unlike the Operator, who takes a sadistic delight in telling people they've been "eliminated," we think if you've got money in the bank, it's your for keeps. No takesies-backsies allowed. (After all, this IS a recession.)
+ Think the losers deserve to leave the with loot they've already won? Or should they slink out, tail between their legs, with nothing to show for it but a humiliating and not-at-all-contrived "death"? Take our poll and let us know whether the second-place team (note: there are only two teams) should get to leave with their cash money intact.

Cancel those outdoor BBQs, after-work drinks and weekends in the country. Tonight's the season finale of The Phone and trust us, you don't wanna miss it. Among the highlights? Two all-girl teams (yowzahs!), one amazingly intense hair-pulling, and one gratuitous (but amusing) backseat costume change. Also, there's some sort of game going on!?
So check it out, 10pm, and find out whether the last episode of the season ends with Stingy McScrooge bolting with a briefcase full o' hundreds (muahahah) -- or a heartwarming gesture of loyalty, generosity and team spirit. (Yawn.)
Oh, and did we mention there's a CATFIGHT?!

With the premiere of Paris Hilton's My New BFF (Season Two!) just a few days away (June 2 at 10pm!), its star is getting vocal about what it takes to make a good reality TV show. And according to her, The Hills doesn't have it. (Hmm, millions of people would prolly beg to differ, P.)
The heiress told Usmagazine.com yesterday, "The [Hills] is, like, so lame and fake" and continued to comment that her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt wants nothing more to do with it. (Uh, deal?)
As you'd imagine, some of The Hills cast members didn't take too lightly to Paris' dis. Here to set the record straight about their "as-real-as-it-gets" show, we give you 2009 MTV Movie Awards guest reporters, Stephanie Pratt and Frankie Delgado!

Jay Lyon's been hemming and hawing about coming back to The City for a second season since forevs ago. And now, rumor has it he's full-on decided to steer clear of the show -- and Whitney Port. At least for the time being.
"I couldn't handle reality television!" the (supposed) ex-City star told E! Online reporters earlier this month. But is his decision final?
Well, we haven't heard anything conclusive (and we're still keeping our fingers crossed it's just an ugly, ugly rumor!), but this isn't the first time Jay's hinted that he's ready to move on.
+ Is Jay for realzies? Tell us whether you think he's walking away for good -- or just having a(nother) momentary panic attack about getting back in front of the cameras.

There are so many endings and new beginnings crammed into the Hills season finale, we don't even know where to begin. Lauren and Lo are leaving their hood, LC's moving on from People's Rev and Heidi's setting her sights on the biggest "most extravagant wedding ever." (Mission accomplished!)
But sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. While Brody encourages LC to go the wedding ("you're gonna regret not going," he advises), he's having trouble accepting that Spencer's a new man. Meanwhile, before Lauren can start the next chapter in life, she'll have to come face to face with her past. Even if that means sitting across a room from Kristin Cavallari ...
Want more? Check out what's in store on the hour-long Hills Season Five finale, then tune in on Sunday (not Monday!) at 8pm to watch it all go down.
+ Bonus: Relive the awesomeness of Kristin's entrance in surround sound!

Stephanie Pratt recently admitted that she's worried about getting on Kristin Cavallari's bad side. But apparently, Audrina Patridge has no such reservations. The feisty brunette dished about her new costar yesterday on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "I don't like her," she confessed. And it was only downhill from there.
Later in the interview (excerpted on Usmagazine.com), 'Drina said that she and Kristin got into a fight on the very first day of filming! And while she refused to say whether or not Justin Bobby was the cause of the drama (Kristin's been equally coy about rumors that she and JB have been dating), Audrina was clear about one thing: she has no problem standing up to Kristin.
"When someone gets in my face, I have to defend myself," she told Seacrest. "[And] it's really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around."
"Pathetic"? "Desperate"? Wow, better watch what you say, Audrina! Those sound like fighting words to us. And we all know Kristin Cavallari's never been one to shy away from an argument ...

Forget what you've heard about trashy lingerie. The Hills' (soon-to-be former) leading lady Lauren Conrad sez the best way to romance your man is by being yourself. "I feel sexiest with [Kyle Howard] when I'm in sweatpants and no makeup," she confesses in Cosmopolitan magazine's July issue.
Girl should know -- she and the My Boys star have been going strong for almost a year now! So what's their secret? According to Lauren's BFF and roomie Lo Bosworth, it was just matter of meeting the right guy at the right time.
"They are really good together," Bosworth says in the Cosmo article (via Usmagazine.com). "Sometimes it takes somebody who treats you right to show you there's something else out there."
'Course a little privacy never hurt, either. After enduring her share of bad breakups on The Hills with Brody Jenner, Jason Wahler and Dud Reinhardt, LC decided to stay quiet about her latest relationship.
“There’s very little that I'm able to keep to myself [because of the show], so if there’s anything I can, I try to," Lauren said earlier this year.
Guess flying under the radar should be easy from here on out. Lauren's final episode on The Hills airs this Sunday at 8pm. (Sniff.)
