Remember when Olivia Palermo outmanuevered Whitney Port in order to land that sweet stint at DVF's London office? Well, despite Whitney's promising pep-talk with Diane von Furstenberg (you know, the one that motivated Whit to dump Jay, focus on her career and beat Liv at her own game), rumor has it the City girl's ditched her digs at DVF -- and run back into the waiting arms of former boss-lady, Kelly Cutrone.
Reports the New York Post: "IS Whitney Port leaving her post at Diane von Furstenberg? A source tells Page Six that [Port] was beaten out for a promotion by co-worker Olivia Palermo, who got the plum job of working as a publicist for DvF in London. Port is said to be filming scenes for the show's second season at p.r. firm People's Revolution -- her previous employer."
As of now, MTV isn't confirming or denying ("we don't comment on upcoming story lines," a spokesperson told Page Six) so we'll have to wait and see whether this rumor turns out to be fact or fiction.
But based on what we've seen from tonight's Hills, Kelly could definitely use a little bit more Whitney -- and a little less Stephanie Pratt -- in her life ...
