Things may not have worked out between Jay Lyon and Whitney Port on The City, but that doesn't mean the rebounding rocker wants his ex-girlfriend spending Saturday nights alone. So how does he feel about rumors that Whitney's off smooching someone else (i.e. Lipstick Jungle star Robert Buckley)?
"If that’s what she’s doing, then great if she’s happy," he told OK! Magazine.
Which isn't to say he's over her ... yet.
“I think it was early for our relationship to end,” Jay admitted. "When she gets back to New York we’ll see what happens. I definitely don’t want to give up on it."
'Course if things don't work out, there may not be a place for Whitney's ex-boyfriend on the second season of The City. But either way, Jay's not stressing.
"Music is the main priority right now and always will be,” the Tamarama rocker told OK!. “If it works, it works; if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. We’ll move on.”
