Lauren Conrad may be peacing outta The Hills, but she hasn't lost touch with reality. According to the New York Post's Page Six, tough economic times have caused Lauren to completely "rethink her [clothing] line," and sources say LC won't be sending out (or producing) any more pieces from the Lauren Conrad Collection.
"With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings," Lauren's rep confirmed, somewhat ambiguously. "She will make announcements soon."
Meanwhile, rumor has it the up-and-coming designer has decided to go with a quality over quantity approach this time. "Lauren is going to revamp her line and design with more high-end fabrics . . . things she couldn't do the first time around," sez a source.
+ Think going high-end is a smart move? Or should LC be cutting costs -- and appealing to a younger demographic -- with more stylish-but-affordable pieces? Take our poll and let us know whether you'd shell out the big bucks for Lauren's designs!
