The New York Post has been calling Whitney Port the new Carrie Bradshaw since before The City even started. And while at first we were skeptical (hello, Whit's a fashion assistant, Carrie's a sex columnist!), all those "Girls Only" brunches and after-work drink things did eventually start reminding us of four other smart, stylish career women.
Sure, not everyone's a perfect fit (Sam's much less uptight than Charlotte, and Allie's only got 1/4 of Miranda's cynicism), but if anyone's got Samantha Jones' dating-like-men thing down, it's gotta be Erin.
And all deja vus aside, we love seeing the ladies catch up over cocktails -- and combine bedroom talk with brioche. Hey, if you're gonna goss about your couch potato boyfriend/bitchy coworkers, you're gonna need refreshments!
