Poor Protege! Not only did the resident con artist on this season's From G's to Gents get booted during the latest black ball ceremony, he also had to humiliate himself on national television for the sake of charity. When team captain Blue selected Protege to join his challenge group (along with Teddy and Lank), he quickly cast Pro as the cheerleader in the anti-gang skit — wig and skirt included. Wondering how attractive Protege looks as a lady? Just ask Lank: “Even if I was the biggest loser in school, I would never ever have a girlfriend as ugly as Protege."
Despite the whole dressing in drag thing, Pro's teammates still didn't think he pulled his weight in the challenge and sent him down to the carpet. Bentley noted that Pro seemed very eager to change when the cameras were rolling, but behind the scenes his passion fell short.
This guy is no Cee — if you're going to start out smarmy and weaselly, you gotta start being sincere around the fourth or fifth episode. Dressing up in a cheerleader costume just wasn't enough to cover up the fact that Pro wasn't ready for a change.
You tell us: Did Protege deserve to get the boot or should he have been given a second chance?
