We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we've got an important announcement to make: Lauren Conrad has officially confirmed that she will NOT be returning to The Hills for another season. And while this isn't a total shocker (LC's been hinting that she's ready to move on), we definitely weren't expecting her revealing (and unambiguously titled) four-page spread in Us Weekly magazine: "Why I'm Leaving The Hills."
In the article, Lauren says walking away from the show is "bittersweet," but admits that she's super duper psyched for life after The Hills. Read on to find out five things she can do once the cameras stop rolling -- and stay tuned for more deets on LC's departure soon!
+ She can screw up without the whole world knowing. "I'm looking forward to making mistakes ... and not having to deal with a public backlash."
+ She can stop being Public Enemy #1. "We lived in one neighborhood for a year, and every neighbor hated us [because of] the paparazzi."
+ She can spend more time with off-screen friends (like boyfriend Kyle Howard). "I just need to have my own relationships."
+ She can stop leading a double life. "There was a point when we were [interning] at Teen Vogue ... and we were also on the cover of the magazine."
+ She can finally take a sick day. "Unless you physically cannot get up, you have to go film ... I think I was sick for all of season three!"
