We want to take a few paragraphs to give Whitney Port uber props for the smart choices she made throughout Ep. 11 of The City -- and then maybe a sentence or two to ponder whether being smart is all that important when a coworker has driven a Tiffany letter opener straight through your back ... with absolutely no remorse.
Our girl Whit was doing so well during the first half of the show:
1) She reminded Olivia to check last month's Elle for overlapping styles.
2) She instinctively picked the DVF jacket that made it onto the mag's cover! Plus, she insisted that 'Liv present it to the editors.
3) She laid down the law with Jay about not getting too comfortable crashing at her place.
4) She showed much restraint by not suffocating Olivia with a wrap dress when biatch stole her thunder.
In choosing to take the high road, Whit dodged some serious professional drama -- but lost out on well-deserved recognition that's not handed out lightly at a place like DVF. So while keeping her mouth shut may win her points with the Headmistress of Hedsor Hall, the only place it'll get Whit at work is back inside her lousy cubicle.
