Team Detox was quite upset to see The Ikki Twins bid adieu to MTV's Tuesday Night lineup last week, but as Giant Suri Cruise says, when Xenu shuts a door, he opens a window. And what a window! First, we soaked up T.I.'s Road to Redemption, which we've decided is like Punk'd meets those old awesome Sally Jessy Raphael episodes where bratty kids get sent to boot camp. And then we had From G's To Gents 2, which we've decided is like From G's To Gents 1. (Think we'll be able to get a Hedsor Hall/G's to Gents cross-promotion episode where the two casts mingle with each other? Fingers crossed!)
With my voice continuing to abandon ship, we thought it might be wise to call in some reinforcement. So who better to show up than Murray Hill, the hardest working middle-aged man in showbiz! Murray was in great spirits, jazzed from Sunday's Grammy Awards. (Why wasn't he watching MTV's new Sunday night block? Boo!) More specifically, Murray was inspired by Justin Timberlake's bomb-of-a-joke regarding general stores. ("Now THAT was showbiz!" Murray joked.)
We were so happy to have Murray stop by and hope he comes back soon (especially since he brought me a kickass t-shirt, which I plan on wearing on this week's Real World Detox.)
