After EONS OF DRAMA -- snide comments, sex tape rumors, public 'sucky person' smackdowns -- none of us had a clue whether ex-BFFs Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag could/would/should ever make up, let alone exchange shoe and hair length compliments. But tonight both gals took the high road and reminded us why they were once such close friends. C'mon, you know you teared up just a lil' bit when LC told 'Heids' she'd always be there (well, at least if no one else was). Watch the scene of their tender reunion all over again:
