We’re not exactly sure how to describe Aubrey and Donnie’s “relationship” on Making the Band 4. Unlike Que and Dawn’s storybook romance, Aubs and Donnie’s on-again/off-again friends-with-benefits type deal wasn’t exactly the easiest thing to define.
Fortunately, we didn’t have to worry about it for long — before we knew it, things were O-V-E-R and the two former lovebirds (or whatever) were back to being just friends. At least, until Donnie said a few not-so-nice things about Aubrey’s, um, chest region on a radio show last month (watch the video, after the jump).
Natch, Aubrey’s firing back, and she’s giving In Touch magazine (and, by extension, Donnie) a piece of a her mind. Here’s what she had to say about the incident we’ve nicknamed “Boobiegate 2008.”
It’s been brought to my attention that Donnie Klang has taken part in a video about me… I take pride in being a strong woman with thick skin and can handle the negative rumors that are frequently spread about me. However, I am saddened and disgusted by Donnie’s decision to speak such ill words about my own mother — who has nothing to do with this situation or this industry.
