Throughout Making the Band 4, we've witnessed Dawn and Que's relationship blossom from flirtatious friends to apprehensive cuddle buddies to whipped fools in love. Their sweet yet sometimes complicated love story has made us "ooh" and "aww" every step of the way, but with the season's last show approaching quickly, it looks like we might be left hanging on their status for a while. Or not.
Que called in yesterday to give Remote Control the deets on where he and Dawn stand right now, and although we couldn't see his face, we can guarantee you he was beaming. "Yeah, [Dawn's] my baby...." he told us. "She comes to Rochester and we chill out. We go out different places – we go to the mall, we go to different radio stations, she chills with my family, I chill with her family. Yeah, we’re still going strong."
Good to know Que's awkward first meeting with Mr. Richard didn't have any lasting repercussions. In fact, Que says he's real close with Dawn's mom and dad: "Whenever I talk to her I ask about her family. I say, ‘tell your parents I love them’ – you know, it’s like a real relationship."
And just like any other real relationship, Dawn and Que have started to think about their future together. Apparently they've even discussed tying the knot! "I mean, we’ve talked about [getting married], but honestly, I’m young and she’s young and right now we wanna focus on our careers and get that established. After we make lots of money and settle down and we got our careers rollin’ real high, we might marry then... Yeah, hopefully in the future we could get married." Cue the "oohs" and "awws"!
In the meantime, Que's just focused on shortening the distance between them -- Dawn's a six hour drive from his hometown of Rochester, and that's six hours too many. "I wouldn't mind moving somewhere with her," he said. Wow! Promise you'll get it all on camera for us?
