Hey there, boys and ghouls! Since Halloween happens to be our most favoritest day of the whole year, we figured we'd take a sec to remind you that you're never, ever too old to get all dressed up and take candy from strangers. So GET OUT THERE and start scaring people!
But first, take a look at Halloween Hall of Fame-wrothy costumes from Brad, Robin and Randy of Real World: San Diego.
In fact, give those guys (and girl) a giant, foam-rubber hand for managing to look both unselfconscious and festive in their goofy getups. And, in Brad and Randy's case, for finding a way to clutch those (comparatively) teeny pony-necked beers in their puffy, oven mitt-sized fingers without spilling a single drop.
If you had the chance to ask Barack Obama anything in the entire world, what would it be? No wait, don't tell us -- tell him. See, MTV News is gonna have a sit-down with the country's leading democrat and they're giving you guys a chance to come up with the questions. (It's freedom of speech at its greatest, folks!)
So whether you're pro-Maverick or ready to Barack the vote this coming Tuesday, head on over to MTV Tr3s and tell us what YOU wanna know about the man who has a 50/50 shot at becoming our nation's 44th president. Then tune in on Monday, November 3rd (at 9am and 7pm) to see whether your questions made it on the air.
And trust us -- this is one opportunity you don't want to miss. As they say in weddings, speak now ... or forever hold your piece.
UPDATE: Watch the interview online now at MTV.com!
In case you hadn't heard, 50 Cent's got a new show kicking off next week called 50 Cent: The Money and The Power, and it's gonna be off the chains. And lest you thought this was gonna be another Apprentice, Fiddy's making it clear that he and The Donald have very different ideas when it comes to, well, everything. Like, for instance, their attitudes towards combovers (Donald's in favor!) rapping (Donald's against!) and, natch, running a business.
So sit back, grab your Vitamin Waters and get psyched up for 50's new show (It's sorta like From G's to Gents, only the opposite!) by re-watching the trailer and checking out our three all-time fave Fiddy videos. Then stay tuned for the premiere of The Money and The Power on Thursdsay, November 6th at 10pm. In our (mostly) unbiased opinion, it's the best thing that's ever been shot.
We did a major doubletake when Evelyn breezed into MTV's Times Square studio two weeks ago. It was Reunion Day for The Island's ex-castaways and the only thing bigger than Ev's hair was her 75 thousand dollar smile.
According to Ev, the glam look she was rockin' isn't necessarily a new thing. Hard to believe, but when the Challenges are over the visor comes off! Just don't assume it's off for good this time. In the below video, we asked Ev to explain her self-proclaimed "hideous" choice of headwear once and for all!
• This just in: presidential hopeful John McCain to spend the last Saturday before next week's elections on SNL! With luck, his performance fall somewhere in the realm of Better Than The Last Time and Worse Than Sarah Palin. Only this time around, we're thinking he should lose the whole 'Haha, I'm really old' shtick. (People)
• Apparently, Sarah Silverman's appearance on her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show made for some pretty awkward moments! Yep, didn't see that one coming... (Usmagazine.com)
• What happens when the Girls Next Door move out of the neighborhood? We're not sure, but rumor has it Hef's girls Holly and Kendra are in search of new digs. (Usmagazine.com)
• The first rule of TV 101: If you're gonna make a show called Cougar Town, you must (we repeat, MUST) get Courteney Cox to star in it. Capiche? (The Insider)
• And speaking of cougars, word has it there's already a Melrose spinoff in the works! We're just hoping Amanda Woodward's still rocking three-inch roots -- and dressed like some sort of high-class, boardroom hooker. (Fox News)
• 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan's leaving the dimly-lit world of strip clubs behind...but that doesn't mean he can't still get his money's worth... (NY Daily News)
While you don't have too much longer to wait for the next season of America's Best Dance Crew, we're bringing you a little sumpthin' sumpthin' to tide you over until the January premiere. Super Cr3w's Ronnie will be competing in Red Bull BC One, a solo battle between the top 16 B-Boys in the world! It's all going down in Paris, but don't panic: we'll be broadcasting the live competition right on Remote Control! Watch the trailer below for a taste of what's coming and check back here Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 3pm ET to see if Ronnie's got what it takes to pull off an international solo victory...
This week, we watched Paris say buh-bye to Natasha (for being too cool for school) and Zui (for being on Corrie's bad side). So what's in store next week? Looks like the remaining gals will be heading to Vegas, where they'll strap on their stilettos, don their sparkliest peacock-style headdresses and channel their inner Elizabeth Berkleys for an over-the-top foray into the wild world of Vegas showgirldom. Oh, and natch they'll be doing all this on less than 3 hours of zzzzz's. Hope they brought their Starbucks cards!
Real World/Road Rules Reunions are notorious for getting a little rowdy, but next week's Island special goes above and beyond the call of duty. Aside from the non-stop slinging of "shut the f**k ups" (refer to video below), prepare to see a parade of four-inch heels, mascara-stained tears and a major confrontation between KellyAnne... and, well, everyone else on set. Holla!
Here, watch our heavily bleeped montage of the show's trainwrecky highlights:
In honor of today being Halloween and all, we thought we'd take a quick look back at two of the Hills stars' most memorable costumes. And since we already showed you Lauren's flapper girl getup, we figured we'd give Audrina, Brody and Frankie a chance to get all nostalgic and relive the amazingness of their Madonna and Batman & Robin days. One question, though: Just how in the hell did Frankie convince Brody to be HIS superhero sidekick??
The producers of True Life are sometimes forced to keep a secret from someone we're following because revealing it would interfere with the story. This was the case with True Life: I'm Getting Married 2. We knew that in order for us to follow Jason's surprise planning we would need to keep the actual topic of the show a secret from his bride-to-be. So, we decided to tell Melissa that we were filming a True Life about Jason studying abroad.
Initially, Melissa was excited about the show. She’s a fan of True Life and was looking forward to participating. Once we got to Paris, however, we mainly followed Jason by himself because he couldn’t plan the wedding with Melissa around. He was away from Melissa for long periods of time with the excuse that he had to show us what it was like to study abroad before returning home the following week. For Melissa, this was very tough since she was hoping they could spend quality time together taking in the sights. Beyond this, we were also nervous that Melissa would be upset when she found we had fibbed, and would want us to leave.
Luckily when Jason revealed the surprise in the park and told Melissa the truth about why we were there, she could not have been more excited. She told Jason that all the time he’d been spending away from her planning the wedding was totally worth it. Melissa was also excited to have us at the wedding (and that her wedding would be on MTV!), which was a huge relief for all of us.
