When the producers finished filming True Life: I’m Looking for My Mother in mid-June, Richard still had hope that his mother would respond to his requests to meet him. Below, Richard explains what’s happened in his life since then.

Since the show wrapped, I’ve tried to contact my mother several times with no response. I am a few months away from graduating and then I want to go to ASU for the W.P. Carey business school. I got a part time job with Bleezy’s Flyer Distribution and am saving up for a ride.

I only talked to my mother a couple of times before she stopped answering my calls. I don’t really care about the situation anymore, I just wanna get on with my life.
