The producers of True Life: I Have Acne finished filming Brandon at the end of June, when his skin was showing only a little improvement. Since then, he’s tried a few new treatments, and he’s had some major changes in his social life. We’ll let Brandon fill you in…
Hey! How have you lovely people been? A lot has changed for me since the show… I have come to the conclusion that I am GAY! Big shocker, right? NOT… Anyways, I continued with the laser treatments up until the middle of July and then I gave up. Although it had improved my skin, it didn’t completely clear it up and I was sick of going through all that pain. Since the middle of August I’ve been using tea tree oil and burdock root, which seems to be giving me some nice results.
Also in August, I lost my virginity. I am much happier with myself now, even tho I still have acne, mainly because I came to one conclusion: if you are not happy with yourself then no one else will be. Plus, Jeffree Star once claimed to be ugly and now he is a beautiful swan. So I hope that maybe one day I’ll turn into a nice beautiful swan!
At the end of the month I moved to college and I’m loving it, although I wish I could get a boyfriend and have a relationship. I like how people leave you alone here… EXCEPT I’m having trouble going to the dining halls — I hate groups of people all in one room (a fear I developed in high school… not becuz I’m ashamed of who I am, I just still don’t know how to socialize).
Other than the fact that I’m living off water, air, and cigs, I really am so glad to be out of high school. Those were the darkest years of my life and I am so blessed to have come out of it alive. If you are in high school and feel like I did, just keep saying to yourself, “I can do this. I can make it, Brandon did.” I only had my few friends to talk to in high school, and that’s really all you need.
If you guys wanna contact me, just add me on myspace — my url is myspace.com/sademolife. Also, please please vote for OBAMA, because it’s about time that gays have the damn simple right to get married!
