Remember how stressful it was for the overprivileged youths on My Super Sweet 16? There was the traumatic ordeal of finding a couture gown, the headache of choosing the right exorbitant venue and, of course, the necessity of hiring an incompetent security detail to (unsuccessfully) prevent the ugly/unpopular kids from sneaking inside.
But somewhere in between all the $200,000 birthday celebrations and "surprise" luxury sedans, it seems our grounded crop of high schoolers lost their way.
Fortunately, help has arrived! And it comes in the form of a new series called Exiled, in which your favorite Sweet 16 alums are shipped off to third world countries (Thailand! Kenya! Peru!) and forced to suffer the indignities of crappy food and manual labor! Choice lines from the trailer include the following:
• "I don't even know how high 12,000 feet is."
• "Mountains? I thought Peru was an island."
• "Why can't I stay with a rich family?"
• "How do people even know where they're going? There's no street signs."
Intrigued? Find out what's in store for these affluent adolescents by checking out the trailer, then tune in Monday, August 25th to watch them officially get Exiled.
