Earlier, we brought your five new(ish) pieces of information about Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge. So to even up the playing field (and refresh your Hills‘ knowledge in light of Monday’s premiere!) we figured we’d hit you with five factoids about the remaining principle players. Next up: it’s the one, the only, Heidi.
She Describes Breaking Up With Jordan As 'The Best Decision Of [Her] Life'
Jordan Eubanks...remember him? Sure you do! He was that doofy, preppy guy Heidi was dating throughout Season 1 of The Hills. (You know, the one who would golf with LC's equally promising then-bf Jason, and verbally abuse her over drinks at LAX?) Anyhow, apparently Heidi dumped him and never once looked back. Wonder what he's doing now....
She May Or May Not Have 'Middle-Child Syndrome'
Those of you who place great value on birth order should be interested to know that Heidi's neither the trailblazing older child or the attention-seeking baby of the family. In fact, the Crested Butte, Colorado, native has a younger brother, Sky, and an older sister, Holly, who (as we already know) will be dropping by the House of Speidi on season 4 of The Hills.
She Never Would Have Met Spencer Without A Little Help From Her Friends
Ever wondered how Heidi and Spencer were introduced? Turns out, they met the same way the rest of us do -- through mutual friends. Of course, in their case, the friends were none other than Heidi's gal pal (and LC's ex-nemesis) Kristin Cavallari, who was dating Spencer's then-BFF (and future Hills lothario) Brody Jenner at the time.
She's Not Only Interested In Singing
Like her rival, LC and her on-again, off-again bestie, Audrina, Heidi's ready to show the world there's more than one way to be a drama queen. And this wannabe actress isn't exactly afraid of aiming high. As we told you last month, Heidi announced that she "plan[s] to win an Oscar." Take that, two-time Academy Award winner, Hilary Swank!
The New York Times Once Described Her As A 'Feminist Hero'
Yep, believe it or not, Times' contributor Ginia Bellafante wrote that "Heidi has emerged as a kind of feminist hero... climbing her way to a bigger position at the event-planning company... and refusing to acquiesce to the demands of her fiancé, Spencer, that she get herself home on time." Heidi also gets props for her "career-mindedness," "ambition" and "self-assertion." (Who knew she was such a modern-day Susan B. Anthony?!)
